Gambit Games

Gambit Games is a card and board game store at 4813 N Grady Ave in Tampa, Florida, that carries Pokémon, Magic: The Gathering, One Piece Card Game, Disney Lorcana and Star Wars: Unlimited. It also stocks a wide run of board games and operates a cafe side, so a drink is part of the visit. It suits players who want sealed product for the current sets and a store that hosts organized events with beginners in mind.

What's on the shelves

Sealed trading card product is the core of the stock, and the current sets are on hand. For Magic: The Gathering that means Lorwyn Eclipsed play boosters at $6 and collector boosters at $35, Avatar the Last Airbender collector boosters at $55, and a Spider-Man collector booster box at $489. Pokémon is represented by Mega Evolution Phantasmal Flames booster packs at $9. One Piece Card Game carries the OP-12 and OP-13 sets, with OP-13 Carrying On His Will packs at $8. Disney Lorcana stocks Whisper in the Well boosters, and Star Wars: Unlimited stocks Secrets of Power packs at $5. Gundam Dual Impact is on the shelf as well.

The Moonrakers line is stocked too, with the base game at $70 and add-ons at $40 each. Accessories and a separate shelf of other trading card games round things out.

The store runs prereleases for new sets. The Star Trek prerelease is set for Saturday, November 7, at 6 PM. Entry is $40 and includes one prerelease kit and a soda or water of your choice.
