FTW Game Co.

FTW Game Co. is a locally owned game and collectibles store at 527 S Mill St in Pryor, Oklahoma, with a second location in Claremore. It carries Magic: The Gathering alongside retro and current video games, comics, Dungeons & Dragons gear, Funko Pop figures and vinyl records, and it keeps a play area open for whatever game a customer brings. It suits Magic players who want weekly events close to home, and anyone with a box of games, comics or records to sell.

What's on the shelves

The Pryor shop is a general pop culture store rather than a cards-only counter. Magic: The Gathering is the card game it carries. Around it, the shelves hold retro games and consoles running from the NES to Xbox, plus newer consoles and games, including Xbox, PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch. Tabletop players can pick up Dungeons & Dragons handbooks, dice and miniatures. Comic readers will find manga and both vintage and current-run comic books, and subscription services are available. Funko Pop figures and new and used vinyl records round out the stock.

The store buys as well as sells. It buys Funko Pops, records, video games, consoles, toys, collectibles and comics, and it pays cash on the spot. Store credit offers are typically higher than cash offers, and credit does not expire and works on anything in the store. A government-issued ID is required to sell.

The condition rules are specific:

• Items must be clean and in working order. Dust and normal wear are acceptable.
• Games, movies and music need their original cases and cover art. Loose discs are not bought.
• Consoles must come with all cables and at least one controller.
• Vinyl records need the original sleeve and artwork, and no scratches.

Disc resurfacing is available for movies, music and video games. The store does not repair consoles or controllers.

Weekly play

The Pryor store is a Wizards Play Network sanctioned location and runs its Magic schedule through the week.

The Friday Night Magic start time is worth knowing if you are driving in after work.

Organized play and events

Beyond the weekly schedule, the store runs periodic family nights, including mini-figure painting, craft night and board game night. Paint nights are open to ages 12 and up, and past sessions have run from 5:30 PM to 8 PM with a canvas and all supplies included. Spots are limited, so those events require preregistering online. The store has also run a season-long Commander Sealed League, a nine-session Magic tournament in which players start with 10 sealed packs and add 2 more each bi-weekly session.

Store policies

Returns follow a simple split: pre-owned items carry a 30 day guarantee and new items carry a 7 day guarantee. A defective item can be exchanged for another item or store credit with the original receipt, and the store does not give cash refunds.

Preorders are for local pickup only, and the store does not ship them. Paying in advance takes 5% off at checkout, while paying at pickup is also an option.

A free rewards program pays one point per dollar spent, and points can be redeemed for store credit, free items and other discounts. If points are missing from a purchase, bringing the original receipt to either location within 30 days gets them added. Gift cards never expire and work at both stores.

Getting there

The store is at 527 S Mill St in Pryor, and the Claremore location is at 1209 W Will Rogers Blvd. Both stores are open seven days a week.

The local scene

Two card shows sit about 30.5 miles from the store: the GG2 Sports Cards Show, next starting November 1, 2026, and the Ten Point Collectibles Card & Memorabilia Show, next starting November 7, 2026. For sports cards in particular, those shows fill a gap the store does not.
