Fearless Cards Toys & Collectibles is a card and collectibles shop at 3 Turkey Hills Road in East Granby, Connecticut, with a stock built around sports cards, Pokémon, Magic: The Gathering and the One Piece Card Game. It is the original location of a three-store New England operation, and it doubles as the drop-off point for PSA grading and the home of a monthly card show. It suits collectors who want singles and sealed wax under one roof, and families with kids who are just starting out.

What's on the shelves

Sports cards are the backbone, with singles sorted by football, basketball, baseball, soccer and hockey, and WWE and UFC. Sealed sports product comes in both hobby and retail boxes across the NFL, NBA, MLB, soccer, hockey, WWE and UFC, along with supplies.

On the trading card game side, the store carries Pokémon, Magic: The Gathering and One Piece Card Game singles and booster boxes. The store also runs live breaks, streamed for a remote audience.

Buying, selling and grading

The store buys collections. Sellers can bring them to the East Granby or Enfield locations or ship them in, and offers come back within 24 hours of a request.

PSA grading is handled through the East Granby store. Cards are dropped off at the monthly card show, and the store takes care of cleaning, packaging, shipping and the PSA submission, then notifies customers when the slabs are ready for pickup in East Granby. Cleaning is included with every submission at no extra charge, and submissions can be tracked online. Prices are per card and depend on declared value and turnaround:

The monthly card show

The East Granby card show is held on the last Sunday of each month, 9 AM to 3 PM, at the store's address. It is the one regular fixture on the calendar and the window for grading drop-offs. The store also hosts and vends at shows elsewhere in the region. The next listed event is Fearless Card Show & More on Sunday, November 1, 10 AM to 4 PM, at Great Awakening Brewing Company in Westfield, Massachusetts, with more than 60 vendor tables of sports cards, Pokémon and other trading card games.

How the store runs

The shop is family friendly and open to all ages and experience levels. It began as a 900 square foot space split between cards and collectibles on one side and toys for kids on the other, and the toy side explains the name.

History

The business started in 2020 when the founder, a lifelong collector and former owner of a group of personal training studios, turned to the hobby after the studios were forced to close. He began with live breaks run from a bedroom, then opened the first store later that year. A second location followed in Massachusetts about a year and a half after the first store opened, and a third opened in Enfield, Connecticut, in 2023. Locations now include East Granby, Enfield, and Feeding Hills, Massachusetts.
