Evolution Games

Evolution Games is a trading card and tabletop game store at 3132 SE Loop 820 in Fort Worth. It stocks six major card games alongside miniatures and role-playing lines, keeps long evening hours on weekdays, and suits players and collectors who want singles from several games under one roof.

What's on the shelves

The card side covers Pokémon, Magic: The Gathering, Yu-Gi-Oh!, One Piece Card Game, Disney Lorcana and Digimon Card Game. The store also carries Gundam TCG, Flesh and Blood, Riftbound and Union Arena singles and product, which makes it a stop for newer games that smaller shops often skip.

Singles are a large part of the stock, graded by condition from near mint down to moderately played and damaged. High-end singles sit on the shelves across several games, with individual cards priced from about $160 up to roughly $775 for the Pokémon, Magic, One Piece and Yu-Gi-Oh! cards currently featured. Lorcana singles can be searched by set, rarity, ink color and franchise, and the Lorcana range runs from The First Chapter through Winterspell, with promo and oversized promo cards for many sets.

Sealed product is carried as well, including Magic and Yu-Gi-Oh! product, and preorders and a buylist are part of how the store operates.

Beyond cards, the tabletop side includes Warhammer 40k, Age of Sigmar, paints, Dungeons and Dragons, Pathfinder, Starfinder and board games.

The store runs a busy event calendar covering Pokémon, Yu-Gi-Oh and Gundam, among other games, with a long list of upcoming events at any given time.
