EG Collectibles

EG Collectibles is a trading card shop at 1584 Red Lion Rd in Bear, Delaware, in the shopping center by Amore Pizza. It was founded in 2023 by two brothers who have played and traded since the early 2000s, when they entered Yu-Gi-Oh! tournaments. It carries Pokémon, Yu-Gi-Oh!, One Piece Card Game, Disney Lorcana and sports cards, and suits collectors and players who want a small neighborhood shop for sealed product and event nights, plus anyone buying card sleeves in person.

What's on the shelves

Pokémon is the deepest part of the stock: graded cards, sealed product, new releases and preorders. One Piece Card Game comes as booster packs and starter decks, and Disney Lorcana arrives as sets, booster boxes and playmats. Union Arena product rounds out the range. Lorcana pricing gives a sense of the sealed range: the 24-pack booster box display for the Disney Lorcana set 12 release is $120, the Illumineer's Trove Box is $50, a bundle of the two is $150, and set playmats are $20.

The shop is also the official store for DuelSpec card sleeves, in standard size. The XD line is $11 in colors including black, white, purple, cobalt blue, mint, frost and silver, and the PRO line is $12 in flavors such as strawberry, lemon, coconut and taro. Store-branded merchandise is sold as well. Sports cards and Yu-Gi-Oh! are part of the range too.

Events and organized play

The store is an official organized play location for One Piece, Pokémon and Disney Lorcana. The One Piece Card Game event runs every Saturday at noon. Release events for new sets are held in store: Lorcana set 12 released May 8, and the release event followed on May 9 at 5 PM. Tournaments and other events can be preregistered online.

A first card show

The store's first card show, TriState TCG Expo, was planned for March 29, from 9 AM to 3 PM, with space for vendors. It marks a step beyond the shop's own events into hosting a show for the wider region.

Store policies

All sales are final. The store does not issue refunds or exchanges on anything sold in the shop or online, and any item with damage or a defect is described in detail before sale. Online orders ship within 2 to 4 business days, and a tracking number goes out once a label is created. Sunday and Monday do not count as business days because the store is closed on those days.

History

EG stands for the two brothers who founded the business. One of them started out buying, selling and streaming in Pokémon trading groups before the shop opened its doors, and live-streamed product openings remain part of how the store reaches customers beyond Bear. The goal is a welcoming room where collectors of all ages can talk cards, whether they own a rare chase card or are just starting out.
