E 4 Cards and More

E 4 Cards and More is a card shop on Highway 97 in Bend, Oregon, built around a busy weekly play calendar. Five games are carried: Pokémon, Magic: The Gathering, Yu-Gi-Oh!, Disney Lorcana and Flesh and Blood. Events run six days a week, which suits players who want a regular table more than a once-a-month trip.

What's on the shelves

Magic: The Gathering singles are the store's deepest catalog, with recent Marvel Super Heroes cards alongside older sets. Pokémon singles and Pokemon JP singles are stocked, and sealed Pokémon product and graded Pokémon slabs are sold as well. Other stock includes card game accessories, custom tokens, mystery dice, Riftbound: League of Legends Trading Card Game singles and gift cards. Customers can sell their own cards to the store, and an online auction of singles, alters and collectibles lets winners pay by invoice and choose pickup in store or shipping.

Weekly play

Wednesday's Commander play runs until 8 PM and Sunday's runs until 7 PM, so those are drop-in sessions rather than scheduled rounds.

Events in detail

The Tuesday Yu-Gi-Oh! tournament is Constructed, Swiss rounds, with TCG-legal decks and prize packs awarded by standings.

Thursday's Magic night is a Swiss-round Modern tournament. Players earn $5 in store credit for every match win, and the top records take home Wizards Play Network promo packs. No preregistration is needed: players register at the counter, bringing their Wizards account information.

Wednesday's Commander open play is free, though a Wizards account registration is required, and registered players get a free promo card while supplies last. Sunday's Commander and Donuts follows the same registration rule and adds complimentary donuts from Delish Donuts. Both welcome newcomers, with staff and regulars on hand to help new players find a pod.

The Saturday Pokémon league is Standard format in Swiss rounds. The $10 entry includes League Promo Packs, and players bring a 60-card deck and register before the first round. The Saturday Disney Lorcana league is free, with in-store registration before play begins and promos awarded to winners and at random. Both events welcome beginners as well as veterans.

Flesh and Blood on Thursday is open casual play with no preregistration: players check in at the counter.
