About
Drum Island Trading Co. is a card shop at 11613 Rainier Ave S in Seattle, built around the newer card games: One Piece Card Game, Pokémon, Riftbound, Gundam and Dragon Ball. It sells singles, sealed product and graded slabs, runs a tournament most nights of the week, and keeps a free Pokémon League session on Saturdays. It suits players who want a regular weeknight event close to home, and collectors who want slabs and high-end singles in the same room as the play tables.
Stock covers Pokémon, One Piece Card Game, Riftbound, Magic, Weiss Schwarz, Disney Lorcana, Star Wars: Unlimited, the Gundam Card Game and My Little Pony Kayou, plus card sleeves and other retail products. Singles, sealed product and graded slabs are all carried, and the featured singles run from a few hundred dollars for Pokémon and One Piece chase cards up to four figures for a signature Riftbound card. The sales floor is set up with display cases to browse, binders to trade from and tables for play.
Cards can be sold as well as bought: the store buys cards for cash or store credit through a buylist. A deck browser shows which decks can be assembled from what is currently in stock, and gift cards in amounts from $5 to $500 are delivered by email and redeemed at checkout like cash.
The store schedules a tournament or open-play session nearly every day it is open, with registration handled through each game's official app. Entry is $10 except for the free Pokémon session.

Friday's One Piece event runs three Swiss rounds of 30 minutes, and the Dragon Ball tournament is capped at 16 players.
The store runs a Pokémon League, with open league play and trading from 2 to 5 PM on Saturdays. It moved from Wednesdays, and the first Saturday session is October 31, the same day as a Halloween card show in Bellevue.
Gundam Sunday uses a constructed format that is beginner friendly, with a cap of 32 players. A Lorcana Learn to Play series starts Monday, November 16 and runs Mondays through December 28, mixing teaching with open play. It is capped at 16 players, and loaner starter decks are provided so new players do not need a deck of their own.
