Cuts And Comics

Cuts And Comics is a comic book store and barbershop under one roof at 263 Temple Ave in Newnan, Georgia. It is a family-run shop where the same visit can cover a skin fade and a stack of new Marvel books. It suits families, comic readers, and anyone who wants a haircut and a comics fix in a single stop. Collectors looking for trading card games or a play space will find other options within a few miles, covered at the end.

What's on the shelves

The comic side carries new titles from DC, Marvel, and select independent publishers, with fresh books arriving every Wednesday, which is New Comic Book Day. Graphic novels and back issues round out the racks, and readers can reserve titles for pickup. Mature (18+) titles can only be picked up by buyers who show a valid government-issued photo ID proving they are at least 18.

The shop also sells its own line of exclusive Swag Wars tees. Apparel has no size exchanges, and worn, washed, or altered apparel cannot be returned.

Orders can be picked up in the store for free or shipped by USPS Ground Advantage, with shipping tiered by quantity.

The barbershop

Licensed barbers and stylists cut for the whole family, with skin fades, beard sculpting, and cuts on all hair textures as specialties. Services are walk-in, with no appointment needed.

Specialty cuts and styles can cost more than these base prices.

Services are non-refundable, but a barber will adjust a cut on the spot if you speak up before leaving the chair. Anyone who books ahead and then no-shows, or cancels less than 2 hours before, may be charged a fee.

Rewards and policies

The shop runs a rewards program built around points called CAPES. Every barbershop service earns 1 CAPE, and so does every graphic novel, comic bundle, and Swag Wars tee. The ladder works like this:

• 3 CAPES: a free comic book, any single issue including a variant
• 4 CAPES: a free curated comic bundle or a single graphic novel
• 6 CAPES: a free Swag Wars tee
• A free barbershop service, which is also earned by buying 5 services

A monthly VIP membership called Hero Monthly Membership is coming soon but is not yet running.

For shipped comic orders, condition complaints must be reported within 48 hours of delivery with photos. Incorrect or defective items can be returned for up to 7 days after an order ships, with a return authorization and proof of purchase. Preorders can be cancelled until the preorder deadline passes, after which orders are locked with the supplier. Reserved titles cancelled before invoicing carry no charge.

Hours and getting there

The lot has plenty of parking, and the shop keeps a washer and dryer on the premises and runs on-site security cameras.
