Collector Station

Collector Station is a card shop at 210 E Main St in downtown Easley, South Carolina, about 13 miles west of downtown Greenville. It deals in modern and vintage sports cards, Pokémon, Magic: The Gathering and One Piece, and it is built around buying, selling and trading across real tables. It suits collectors who like to rip packs at a counter, trade without being rushed, or skip parking altogether and use the drive-through window out front.

What's on the shelves

The floor carries sealed boxes, singles and graded slabs. Sports cards run to football, basketball and baseball, and the Pokémon, Magic: The Gathering and One Piece Card Game stock sits alongside them. Sealed product includes booster packs, blaster boxes, Elite Trainer Boxes and mystery packs, and new product arrives through the week.

The Pack Bar is a counter where customers pick packs or a whole box and open it on the spot. Specials rotate, so it is worth asking what is running that week. A live studio at the center of the store hosts breaks and filmed content.

Buying, selling and trading

The store buys collections of any size. Cards sold outright are paid at about 60% of market value on the spot, while higher-end cards can be consigned, with the seller netting about 70% when they sell. Anyone unsure what a collection is worth can book a video appraisal before making the drive.

Trades are welcome at the tables any day the shop is open, and negotiation is part of the setup. Sealed product, slabs, raw cards and binders all work.

Express Lane drive-through

The Express Lane is a drive-through window out front. Orders placed online can be picked up there without leaving the car, and most are ready in under 4 hours during store hours. Pickup is free. The window also takes orders directly from its own menu of booster packs, blaster boxes, Elite Trainer Boxes, mystery packs and graded card picks. It is also used for drop-offs when selling or trading.

Weekly play

Trade night is the store's one standing weekly event.

Because the tables stay open for trading all week, Sunday is simply the evening when the most people show up with binders.

Policies and shipping

Every order, singles and sealed alike, carries a guarantee that the item is authentic, is the exact item pictured, and ships with proper packing. A claim must be made within 5 business days of delivery, with clear photos of the item and its original packaging. Outside that guarantee, all sales are final, whether made in the store, online or on a live sale.

Shipping within the United States is $5.99 flat for standard and $12.99 for express. Standard shipping is free on orders of $75 or more. Most orders ship within 1 business day, and up to 3 business days during busy releases.

The store sits downtown at 210 E Main St, Easley, SC 29640. From Greenville, most of the drive is on US-123 (Calhoun Memorial Highway) heading west, and it takes 20 to 25 minutes.
