About
CJ Sports, Collectibles & More is a trading card and memorabilia store in Albuquerque, set inside the Cottonwood Mall at 10000 Coors Bypass NW, Suite C 204. It is a local, family-owned shop that covers both halves of the hobby: Pokémon, Magic: The Gathering, Yu-Gi-Oh!, One Piece and Riftbound on the TCG side, and a deep run of sports cards, autographs and framed memorabilia on the other. It suits Magic players looking for casual Commander games on weekends, and collectors who want to sell, trade or browse in one stop.
The TCG stock spans Pokémon, Magic: The Gathering, Yu-Gi-Oh!, One Piece Card Game and Riftbound. Pokémon includes a large selection of vintage factory-sealed packs and booster boxes. Sports cards cover football, baseball, basketball and hockey, and the store also carries non-sport trading cards, including Star Wars, Marvel, Garbage Pail Kids and Elvis.
Autographs are a second pillar. The store sells signed baseballs, football helmets and jerseys, and boxing gloves, along with signed photos and a run of Star Wars autographs. Everything sold carries an authenticity guarantee, and autograph purchases come with a certificate of authenticity or proof of authentication. Custom framing is available for signed sports jerseys and plaques.
The store is always buying: singles, whole collections, chase cards and sealed product. Buying covers Pokémon, Magic, One Piece, Riftbound and other TCG products, as well as sports cards. Trades are offered on both TCG and sports cards, a useful route for building a collection without paying full retail.
Magic: The Gathering casual Commander runs three days a week.
| Day | Start | Game | Format |
|---|---|---|---|
| Friday | 11 AM | Magic: The Gathering | Casual Commander |
| Saturday | 11 AM | Magic: The Gathering | Casual Commander |
| Sunday | noon | Magic: The Gathering | Casual Commander |
Friday and Saturday sessions run until 8 PM, and Sunday play runs noon to 6 PM, so the games stretch across most of the store's open hours.
The store runs a Magic prerelease for the Reality Fracture set, with sessions on September 25 and 26 at 11 AM and 5 PM, and on September 27 and 28 at 1 PM. The entry fee is $34.99 per person.
Monthly box breaks cover NFL, NBA and MLB cards. In a break, collectors buy a spot in exchange for receiving some of the cards from a given case, box or pack, and registration is done online.
Buying trading card packs, boxes or boosters earns 1 point per dollar. At the end of each month, every 10 points earned equals one pull from a raffle, and each pull can win store credit anywhere from $5 to $95.
