S5I: Single Strike Master is a Japanese Pokémon TCG expansion from the Sword & Shield era, released on January 22, 2021 under the set code S5I. It lists 91 catalog printings, and its name points to the Single Strike style, which shows in the cards that carry it: Single Strike Urshifu V, Single Strike Urshifu VMAX and Single Strike Style Mustard each appear in three versions. Trainers Bruno and Phoebe are printed three times each as well. The headline cards are Tyranitar V, Mimikyu V and Phoebe, so this is a set where V Pokémon and Trainer artwork share the top of the card list.
S5I: Single Strike Master was released January 22, 2021.
S5I: Single Strike Master has 91 cards.
S5I: Single Strike Master is part of the Sword & Shield era.
The rarity ladder in Single Strike Master runs from commons and uncommons up through 30 chase-tier cards: Super Rare, Hyper Rare, Double Rare, Triple Rare and Ultra Rare. The most valuable cards are Tyranitar V and Mimikyu V, both Super Rare, followed by the Super Rare Phoebe and Single Strike Urshifu V. The Hyper Rare Phoebe and Single Strike Urshifu VMAX sit just behind them. Value is heavily concentrated: the top five cards hold 68 percent of the set's total card value, so most of what the set is worth comes from a few pulls rather than the chase tier as a whole.
As of October 2026, S5I: Single Strike Master holds the 18th highest total card value of the 30 comparable Sword & Shield sets, about equal to the era median, and ranks 137th across the whole game of 189 sets. Its single most valuable card ranks 10th in the era, while trading activity ranks 28th. It followed S4a: Shiny Star V, released November 20, 2020, which holds more total value, and came before S5a: Peerless Fighters, which also holds more. English collectors will find 57 of these cards in Battle Styles, which came 8 weeks later on March 19, 2021.

A complete run of Single Strike Master means 91 catalog printings, of which 86 are priced. Because 68 percent of the set's card value sits in its top five cards, the cost of finishing it depends mostly on a handful of Super Rare and Hyper Rare cards, while the commons, uncommons and plain rares fill out the rest. Sealed product for the set includes a booster box and a booster pack, so the card list can be chased either through singles or through the sealed line. Duplicated names such as Bruno, Phoebe and the Urshifu cards mean several slots to track.
