The CS4bC master set for the Simplified Chinese Pokémon TCG runs to 288 slots against 177 cards in the set, so each card adds about 1.6 slots on average. Reverse holos make up 111 of those slots, normal prints 100 and holos 77. Laid out nine to a side, the full master set checklist fills 16 double-sided binder pages. It is a mid-sized job for a Sword & Shield era expansion released on March 1, 2024, and the reverse holo layer is the largest single block of slots to track down.
The CS4bC master set is built from just three variant families: Reverse Holo with 111 slots, Normal with 100 and Holo with 77. No stamped or edition-specific families appear, so every extra slot comes from finish alone. The reverse holo layer applies to common, uncommon and rare cards, which is why that family is the largest. For a collector, a reverse holo is the same card printed with a holographic pattern across the card body instead of only the art window, and each one takes its own pocket in the binder beside the normal print.
| Variant family | Slots | Priced | Share of value |
|---|---|---|---|
| Reverse Holo | 111 | 1 | <1% |
| Normal | 100 | 9 | 2.0% |
| Holo | 77 | 66 | 98% |

Shares of the master set’s priced value, from the slot prices in the checklist above.
At 288 slots, the CS4bC master set sits about equal to the Sword & Shield era median of 280, so it is a typical-sized project for its era rather than an outlier. By master set value it ranks 2nd among the 15 comparable sets of its era, which makes it a heavier undertaking than its slot count suggests. The neighbouring releases are much smaller: CS3.5C has 95 slots and CS4.5C has 90, and the master sets of both hold lower value than this one.
A CS4bC (九彩汇聚 源) master set is one copy of every card AND every variant in the set — the 177 cards on this page, with their Normal, Reverse Holo and Holo prints each listed and priced on their own. Sign in and the checklist tracks what you own, in step with the Cardboard Alpha app.
The large NM-only figure is a complete catalog estimate when every printing has current NM pricing. LP, MP, HP, and DMG “and up” totals below it use the requested condition or a better available condition. These are summed reference prices, not a quote from one seller; a dash means the current market does not cover every printing yet.
“LP and up” means lightly played or better: the total uses LP when available, then NM as the better-condition fallback. The MP, HP, and DMG tiers follow the same pattern.
