The variants define the CS3bC master set, a Simplified Chinese Pokémon TCG release from the Sword & Shield era, dated November 17, 2023. It asks for 283 slots against 179 cards, which works out to about 1.6 slots per card. Reverse holos take 104 of them, normal prints 90 and holos 89. Laid out nine to a side, the master set checklist fills 16 double-sided binder pages, so the job is a moderate one rather than a sprawling one.
Only three families make up the CS3bC master set: Reverse Holo with 104 slots, Normal with 90 and Holo with 89. The extra slots come from reverse holos of the common, uncommon and rare cards, so those tiers each ask for two copies of the same card in different finishes. A reverse holo carries the foil finish on the card's body rather than the artwork, and each one is its own binder slot. No stamped or special print families appear in this Simplified Chinese set, so the master set stays a matter of matching finishes to cards.
| Variant family | Slots | Priced | Share of value |
|---|---|---|---|
| Reverse Holo | 104 | 0 | — |
| Normal | 90 | 4 | 1.6% |
| Holo | 89 | 62 | 98% |

Shares of the master set’s priced value, from the slot prices in the checklist above.
At 283 slots, the CS3bC master set sits about equal to the Sword & Shield era median of 280, so it is an average-sized job for the period. By master set value it ranks 5th among the 15 comparable sets in its era. The Simplified Chinese set before it, CS2.5C, has 79 slots, far smaller. The next one, CS3.5C, has 95 slots, and its master set holds lower value than this one.
A CS3bC (洪荒演武 激) master set is one copy of every card AND every variant in the set — the 179 cards on this page, with their Normal, Reverse Holo and Holo prints each listed and priced on their own. Sign in and the checklist tracks what you own, in step with the Cardboard Alpha app.
The large NM-only figure is a complete catalog estimate when every printing has current NM pricing. LP, MP, HP, and DMG “and up” totals below it use the requested condition or a better available condition. These are summed reference prices, not a quote from one seller; a dash means the current market does not cover every printing yet.
“LP and up” means lightly played or better: the total uses LP when available, then NM as the better-condition fallback. The MP, HP, and DMG tiers follow the same pattern.
