# Shiftry #XY23 — XY Black Star Promos

## Summary

Shiftry is a Hoenn Stage 2 with a cult following for its tengu design and menacing grin, and this promo came from the opening wave of the XY era's Black Star run. Sanosuke Sakuma's name adds a modest draw; promos like this sit outside any pack-pull chase, so demand is steady and niche. A $0.94 modelled guide with no copies traded in 30 days says bulk, and the economics stop there: a PSA 10 guides at $60, 64 times raw, but a 3% gem rate against $85 of fees makes grading a losing trade, and the same card plays for $0.06 out of Mega Evolution.
