# Hoopa EX #XY85 — XY Black Star Promos

## Summary

Hoopa is a Mythical Pokémon from the Kalos generation, and Hitoshi Ariga, a long-serving Pokémon illustrator, gives this EX promo some pedigree. Promos sit outside the booster chase entirely, so demand comes from Hoopa fans and completists, while the Item-fetching attack made it a playable curiosity. The modelled guide sits at $22 with 22 copies traded in 30 days; PSA has slabbed 267 of these and only 4 are 10s, a 1% gem rate that makes the raw-to-gem gap the entire trade, and the slabbed population has not grown in 30 days, slower than 86% of tracked cards.
