# Smeargle #8/90 — Undaunted

## Summary

Smeargle is a quirky Johto favorite whose Portrait power, borrowing a Supporter straight from the opponent's hand, made it a clever disruption pick in its era rather than a staple. As an Undaunted holo rare, it sits as a mid-tier pull, and Midori Harada's name adds some appeal for illustrator followers. At a $9.56 modelled guide, with 12 copies traded in 30 days, this printing is almost entirely collector premium, since the same card plays for $0.08 out of Phantasmal Flames; PSA does not split this card’s population by finish, so no gem rate can be read for it.
