# Octillery #SWSH089 — SWSH Black Star Promos

## Summary

Octillery is a Johto Water type with a quiet but loyal following, and Rapid Strike Search made this promo a genuine engine for the Rapid Strike decks of its format rather than a throwaway. Kiyotaka Oshiyama's long-running Pokémon illustration work adds to a modest, steady promo appeal. At a $4.95 modelled guide, up 6% over 30 days on 8 copies traded, with 470 days of inventory on the board, this printing is almost entirely collector premium, since the same card plays for $0.06 out of Journey Together; a PSA 10 brings $95, 19 times raw, but a 34% gem rate against $85 of fees makes grading a losing trade.
