# Parasect #5/149 — Sun & Moon

## Summary

Parasect is a Kanto Grass type with a cult following built on its strange mushroom-parasite design, and Eri Yamaki is a well-regarded Pokémon illustrator whose work collectors seek out. A plain Rare from the opening Sun & Moon set, it was a mid-tier pull rather than a chase slot. A $0.22 modelled guide with 2 copies traded in 30 days says bulk, and the economics stop there: a PSA 10 guides at $32, 143 times raw, but PSA does not split this card’s population by finish, so no gem rate can be read for it, and the same card plays for $0.13 out of Journey Together.
