# Steelix #31/144 — Skyridge

## Summary

Steelix is a Johto favorite whose Onix line keeps a steady fanbase, and this is a Hikaru Koike illustration from Skyridge, the last and scarcest WOTC-era set. A plain Rare there is no chase slot, but the set's reputation lifts even its mid-tier pulls among completists. At a $78 modelled guide, down 2% over 30 days on 4 copies traded, with 242 days of inventory on the board, this printing is almost entirely collector premium, since the same card plays for $0.21 out of Mega Evolution; PSA does not split this card’s population by finish, so no gem rate can be read for it.
