# Thwackey #SV005/SV122 — Shining Fates Shiny Vault

## Summary

Thwackey is the awkward middle stage of Galar's Grookey line, which fans love as a starter but rarely chase by itself. The Shiny Vault slot is the real draw here, a recolored pull sitting in the set's hardest-to-hit insert, and the ability gave it modest, mostly casual play. At a $2.78 modelled guide, down 3% over 30 days on 39 copies traded, with 180 days of inventory on the board, 88% of this printing’s price is collector premium, since the same card plays for $0.34 out of Twilight Masquerade; a PSA 10 brings $40, 14 times raw, but a 65% gem rate against $65 of fees makes grading a losing trade.
