# Appletun #SV014/SV122 — Shining Fates Shiny Vault

## Summary

Appletun is a Galar Pokémon with a gentle, dessert-minded charm, and its Delicious Aroma ability gave it a gimmick that dragged benched targets forward on a coin flip. As a Shiny Vault card, it sat in the set's chase tier, which is where its collector appeal comes from. At a $9.02 modelled guide, up 10% over 30 days on 52 copies traded, with 125 days of inventory on the board, this printing is almost entirely collector premium, since the same card plays for $0.09 out of Surging Sparks; a PSA 10 brings $73, 8.1 times raw, but a 54% gem rate against $85 of fees makes grading a losing trade.
