# Empoleon #117/116 — Plasma Freeze

## Summary

Empoleon is a Sinnoh starter's final form with a loyal following, and its draw Ability made it a working Water deck piece in the Black & White years. As a Secret Rare it was a scarce pull, which gives collectors a reason to hunt it. The modelled guide sits at $375 with 5 copies traded in 30 days; the slab is the real edge, with PSA 10s at $38,400 and a 8% observed gem rate putting about $1,900 of expected profit per submission.
