# Chi-Yu ex #259/193 — Paldea Evolved

## Summary

Chi-Yu ex was a real tournament threat, its Flame Surge turning one attack into a bench full of energy and powering Fire decks through that Standard season. As a special illustration rare it sits at the chase tier of Paldea Evolved, and Akira Egawa's name adds collector pull. The modelled guide sits at $44, down 19% over 30 days on 141 copies traded, with only 20 days of inventory on the board; a PSA 10 brings $200, 4.5 times raw, but a 53% gem rate against $85 of fees makes grading a losing trade.
