# Torchic #056 — MEP Black Star Promos

## Summary

Torchic is the Hoenn starter that Ruby and Sapphire fans still rank among the franchise's best, and Fire-type nostalgia keeps its promos moving. Saboteri is a name collectors know, and a Black Star Promo is a modest pull, wanted mainly by Torchic completists rather than players. At a $5.88 sold median, down 29% over 30 days on 1,264 copies traded, with only 2 days of inventory on the board, this printing is almost entirely collector premium, since the same card plays for $0.15 out of Journey Together; no PSA population is on file, and a ACE 10 would fetch about $58 against $49 in grading fees.
