# Empoleon #35/113 — Legendary Treasures

## Summary

Empoleon is the Sinnoh starter that gets overlooked beside Infernape and Torterra, yet it has a steady fanbase for its imperial design and Water/Steel typing. Kawayoo is a well-regarded illustrator, and as a plain Rare in a large Black & White finale, it sits comfortably mid-tier. The modelled guide sits at $7.89, up 20% over 30 days on 25 copies traded, with 30 days of inventory on the board; a PSA 10 guides at $78, 9.9 times raw, but PSA does not split this card’s population by finish, so no gem rate can be read for it.
