# Charizard ex -196 #196/160 — Jumbo cards

## Summary

This is the Obsidian Flames Charizard ex, a deck-defining Tera Stage 2 that spent its season as a Charizard-and-Pidgeot centerpiece, here sold as an oversized jumbo promo. Charizard commands the deepest fan loyalty in the hobby, and jumbo formats trade on display appeal rather than play. The modelled guide sits at $5.81, up 16% over 30 days on 50 copies traded, with 1,360 days of inventory on the board; a PSA 10 guides at $295, 51 times raw, but a 27% gem rate against $85 of fees makes grading a losing trade, and the slabbed population has not grown in 30 days, slower than 90% of tracked cards.
