# Brock's Sandslash #23/132 — Gym Heroes

## Summary

Brock's Sandslash carries the weight of the Gym Heroes tie-in to the Pewter City leader, which gives a Gen I Fighting type a built-in appeal to Kanto-minded collectors. Ken Sugimori, the franchise's original designer, is the illustrator, and a Rare here was a mid-tier pull, never the chase. The modelled guide sits at $23 with 9 copies traded in 30 days; PSA does not split this card’s population by finish, so no gem rate can be read for it, with original packs long past any pull-rate math.
