# Altaria #12/106 — Great Encounters

## Summary

Altaria carries a quiet fan following as the cloud-winged Dragon that Hoenn players remember fondly, and Kagemaru Himeno is a veteran Pokémon TCG illustrator with a long catalogue. As a mid-tier Rare in Great Encounters it was a solid pull but never the chase slot, so demand is steady rather than urgent. At a $3.64 modelled guide, with no copies traded in 30 days, this printing is almost entirely collector premium, since the same card plays for $0.09 out of Surging Sparks; PSA does not split this card’s population by finish, so no gem rate can be read for it.
