# Gyarados #23/83 — Generations

## Summary

Gyarados has been a fan favorite since Gen I, partly for the Magikarp-to-menace payoff that made it a rite of passage for kids on Red and Blue. A plain Rare in Generations, it was a mid-tier pull, so demand rests on nostalgia rather than scarcity. The modelled guide sits at $1.09, down 7% over 30 days on 15 copies traded, with 515 days of inventory on the board; PSA does not split this card’s population by finish, so no gem rate can be read for it.
