# Lapras #25/62 — Fossil

## Summary

Lapras has long been a first-generation favorite, the gentle ferry Pokémon that fans have loved since Red and Blue. Ken Sugimori, who drew the original Pokémon artwork, gives this Fossil rare the weight of a founding designer's own take, and Fossil rares from that era keep steady nostalgic demand. At a $31 modelled guide, with 5 copies traded in 30 days, this printing is almost entirely collector premium, since the same card plays for $0.23 out of Stellar Crown; PSA does not split this card’s population by finish, so no gem rate can be read for it.
