# Kabutops #24/62 — Fossil

## Summary

Kabutops is a Stage 2 Fighting fossil Pokémon that Gen I fans have always liked as the armored counterpart to Omastar, and Fossil's early-era Rares were never hard to pull. Ken Sugimori, the franchise's original designer, drawing his own creation gives it a quiet pedigree.
