# Fiery Torch #89/106 — Flashfire

## Summary

Fiery Torch was a quiet engine piece for Fire decks in the XY era, trading a Fire Energy from hand for two fresh cards and helping fuel the format's heavy Fire strategies. As an uncommon Trainer it was never a chase pull, so collectors treat it as a small, practical set piece. A $0.35 modelled guide, up 3% over 30 days on 2 copies traded, says bulk, with only 15 days of inventory on the board, and the economics stop there: a PSA 10 guides at $33, 94 times raw, but PSA does not split this card’s population by finish, so no gem rate can be read for it.
