# Psychic Energy #164/165 — Expedition Base Set

## Summary

Psychic Energy is a bulk common, the plainest pull in a Wizards-era pack, and nobody opened Expedition hoping for one. Its small appeal comes from Keiji Kinebuchi's name on it and from completionists who want every basic Energy in the first e-Card-era set. At a $1.56 modelled guide, up 6% over 30 days on 16 copies traded, with 4,152 days of inventory sitting on the board, this printing is almost entirely collector premium, since the same card plays for $0.05 out of XY trainer Kit (Latias); PSA does not split this card’s population by finish, so no gem rate can be read for it.
