# Cloyster #8/165 — Expedition Base Set

## Summary

Cloyster is a Gen I favorite, loved for its tough shell and spiked, pearly design, and Expedition's holo slot ranks among the era's more sought-after Water pulls. Kyoko Umemoto's name carries weight with collectors, and the all-holo Expedition printing keeps demand steady among early-2000s completionists. The modelled guide sits at $99 with 5 copies traded in 30 days; PSA does not split this card’s population by finish, so no gem rate can be read for it, with original packs long past any pull-rate math.
