# Ampharos #40/124 — Dragons Exalted

## Summary

Ampharos is a Johto favorite, and its Electromagnetic Wall Ability made the Stage 2 an odd, disruptive pick in a Black & White format dominated by faster, simpler attackers. Hajime Kusajima's name adds a little illustrator interest, but as a mid-tier Rare this stays a modest pull. The modelled guide sits at $6.71, up 8% over 30 days on 12 copies traded, with 149 days of inventory on the board; a CGC 10 brings $153, 23 times raw, but PSA does not split this card’s population by finish, so no gem rate can be read for it.
