# Magnezone #DP32 — DP Black Star Promos

## Summary

Magnezone was the Sinnoh-born evolution of Magneton, and Metal types drew steady loyalty from Diamond & Pearl players. A Black Star promo is an event-style distribution rather than a pack pull, so scarcity comes from how it was handed out, and Kent Kanetsuna is a respected illustrator. At a $5.42 modelled guide, up 3% over 30 days on 14 copies traded, with 60 days of inventory on the board, this printing is almost entirely collector premium, since the same card plays for $0.10 out of Mega Evolution; PSA has slabbed 42 of these and 2 are 10s, a 5% gem rate, but no graded market has formed to price the slab.
