# Dialga #DP17 — DP Black Star Promos

## Summary

Dialga is Sinnoh's time deity and a cover legend, which gives any early Diamond & Pearl printing a built-in fan following. This Black Star Promo is a Level-Up with a gamble-heavy Poké-Power that never became a staple, so it appeals to completionists rather than tournament players. At a $258 modelled guide, up 53% over 30 days on 64 copies traded, with only 12 days of inventory on the board, this printing is almost entirely collector premium, since the same card plays for $0.14 out of Mega Evolution; PSA has slabbed 792 of these and only 6 are 10s, a 0.8% gem rate that makes the raw-to-gem gap the entire trade.
