# Rare Fossil #167/189 — Darkness Ablaze

## Summary

Rare Fossil is a functional Item that played as a Basic Pokémon, a throwback to the old Fossil mechanic, and its job was feeding the Fossil-revival archetypes of the era rather than turning heads. At uncommon rarity it was a mid-tier pull that players grabbed for playsets, with little collector chase behind it. A $0.13 modelled guide, up 44% over 30 days on 34 copies traded, says bulk, with 1,840 days of inventory sitting on the board, and the economics stop there: no PSA population is on file.
