# Professor's Research (Professor Oak) #024/025 — Celebrations

## Summary

Professor's Research was a Supporter that sat in nearly every deck of its Standard format, and this Professor Oak version dresses that staple in the 25th anniversary celebration. Ken Sugimori, the man who drew the original Pokémon, makes it a nostalgia pull for collectors rather than a tournament purchase. The modelled guide sits at $1.12, up 35% over 30 days on 492 copies traded, with only 15 days of inventory on the board; a CGC 10 brings $34, 31 times raw, but a 57% gem rate against $45 of fees makes grading a losing trade.
