# Lugia-EX #BW83 — BW Black Star Promos

## Summary

Lugia-EX is a promo from the Plasma-era Black & White block, a Johto legend that has never lacked admirers and whose EX form carried real tournament weight in Plasma decks. Toyste Beach's art keeps it appealing, and promo scarcity relative to pack pulls adds a quiet premium. At a $66 modelled guide, with 40 copies traded in 30 days, this printing is almost entirely collector premium, since the same card plays for $1.37 out of Prismatic Evolutions; PSA has slabbed 431 of these and only 4 are 10s, a 0.9% gem rate that makes the raw-to-gem gap the entire trade.
