# Numel #223/217 — Ascended Heroes

## Summary

Numel is a Hoenn Fire/Ground camel that fans remember fondly as the humble first step toward Camerupt, and an illustration rare slot is where modest Pokémon like this get their showcase. Miyoshi's name on the card adds appeal, and a burn-on-contact Ability gives it a little real utility too. At a $3.28 sold median, down 17% over 30 days on 782 copies traded, with only 4 days of inventory on the board, this printing is almost entirely collector premium, since the same card plays for $0.08 out of Mega Evolution; PSA has slabbed 1,327 of these and 913 are 10s, a 69% gem rate, but no graded market has formed to price the slab.
