# Mega Hawlucha ex #283/217 — Ascended Heroes

## Summary

Hawlucha is a Kalos-born luchador that fans have wanted a Mega form for since X and Y, so this is a long-awaited payoff. As a special illustration rare, it sits in the chase tier of Ascended Heroes, and Akira Egawa's name adds weight for artist-focused collectors. At a $32 sold median, down 33% over 30 days on 215 copies traded, with only 15 days of inventory on the board, this printing is almost entirely collector premium, since the same card plays for $0.60 out of Ascended Heroes; a CGC 10 brings $110, 3.5 times raw, but a 81% gem rate against $45 of fees makes grading a losing trade.
