# Banette #234/217 — Ascended Heroes

## Summary

Banette has long held a cult following among Hoenn fans for its haunted-doll backstory, and a Mega Evolution tie-in keeps it in conversation. As an illustration rare, it sits in the set's chase tier, where Yashiro Nanaco's full-art treatment is the pull collectors seek over any playable version. At a $7.99 sold median, down 26% over 30 days on 747 copies traded, with only 5 days of inventory on the board, this printing is almost entirely collector premium, since the same card plays for $0.08 out of Ascended Heroes; a CGC 10 brings $47, 5.8 times raw, but a 71% gem rate against $45 of fees makes grading a losing trade.
