# Tyranitar EX #91/98 — Ancient Origins

## Summary

Tyranitar EX is a Johto pseudo-legendary with a devoted following, and the Mega Tyranitar that followed only deepened it. Ancient Origins slotted it as an Ultra Rare chase pull, so demand comes from fans, Darkness players and set completionists alike. At a $109 modelled guide, up 3% over 30 days on 30 copies traded, with 61 days of inventory on the board, this printing is almost entirely collector premium, since the same card plays for $0.60 out of Prismatic Evolutions; a PSA 10 brings $4,000, 37 times raw, but a 19% gem rate against $85 of fees makes grading a losing trade.
