# Trainers' Mail #100/98 — Ancient Origins

## Summary

Trainers' Mail was a staple Item in XY-era decks, digging four cards deep for a Trainer, so the secret rare is a gold-bordered take on a card players already ran everywhere. Demand comes from that deck-building pedigree and from Toyste Beach's work. The modelled guide sits at $7.29, up 5% over 30 days on 11 copies traded, with 164 days of inventory on the board; a PSA 10 brings $200, 27 times raw, but a 19% gem rate against $85 of fees makes grading a losing trade.
