# Malamar #46/98 — Ancient Origins

## Summary

Malamar is a Kalos Dark type that earned its fan base through the upside-down Inkay line, and as an Ancient Origins common it was a bulk pull, never a chase slot. Masakazu Fukuda is a long-running Pokémon illustrator, so completionists tend to want the copy anyway. A $0.05 modelled guide, up 25% over 30 days on 56 copies traded, says bulk, with 173 days of inventory on the board, and the economics stop there: a PSA 10 guides at $31, 612 times raw, but PSA does not split this card’s population by finish, so no gem rate can be read for it.
