# Pikachu #027/128 — 30th Celebration

## Summary

Pikachu is the franchise's face, so a Pikachu Rare in an anniversary set is a collector magnet no matter what the attack does, and the healing move reads as a gentle nod rather than a competitive pitch. Asako Ito is a long-running Pokémon card illustrator, which adds a second reason to chase it. The sold median sits at $0.97, down 67% over 30 days on 4,121 copies traded, with only 2 days of inventory on the board; no PSA population is on file, and a ACE 10 would fetch about $49 against $49 in grading fees, so the only money in this card is finishing a set, not a slab.
