# Pikachu #026/128 — 30th Celebration

## Summary

Pikachu is the franchise's face, so any anniversary-set printing carries built-in affection that has little to do with its modest attack. The Pikachu Rare tier signals a deliberately collectible slot rather than a competitive one, and Takeshi Nakamura's name adds a familiar, well-liked credit for illustration collectors. At a $0.60 sold median, down 33% over 30 days on 5,674 copies traded, with only 2 days of inventory on the board, 48% of this printing’s price is collector premium, since the same card plays for $0.31 out of Temporal Forces; no PSA population is on file, and a ACE 10 would fetch about $60 against $49 in grading fees.
