# Virizion (Japanese) #012 — XY7: Bandit Ring

## Summary

Japan got its Virizion in June 2015, nearly two months before Ancient Origins carried the same card to English shelves that August, and the Japanese edition came out of Bandit Ring, a set that gave Japan's collectors a head start on the Unova swordsmen. The illustration catches the green Pokémon mid-leap across a bright, streaked sky with a flock of birds behind it. As a standard rare, it is a mid-tier pull, never a chase slot.
