# Mega Ampharos EX (Japanese) #028 — XY7: Bandit Ring

## Summary

Two months before Ancient Origins reached English shelves in August 2015, Japanese collectors were already opening Mega Ampharos EX from XY7: Bandit Ring, released there in June 2015. The Japanese card is a Double Rare chase slot, a bright yellow and electric blue burst with the Mega form's glowing head and a lightning-streaked attack banner running across the art, which keeps demand firm for the earlier Japanese copy.
